We’ve reached Day 7 of the Love Reboot Challenge, and today’s lesson is one that can transform your marriage for life: speak life, not death.
The Bible reminds us:
👉 “The tongue has the power of life and death.” (Proverbs 18:21)
Your words shape your marriage. They either build or break. And it all begins with your thoughts—because what fills your mind will eventually flow from your mouth.
Instead of saying things like “You never…” or “You always…”—start declaring God’s truth over your spouse and marriage:
- “My husband is calm, kind, and compassionate.”
- “My wife’s words are life-giving and uplifting.”
- “Our home is filled with peace, joy, and love.”
✨ Today’s challenge: Write down three declarations about your spouse. At least two should affirm their strengths, and one should speak life into an area where they are growing. Then speak these out loud every day.
When you change your words, you change the atmosphere in your marriage.
