Complaining..

We’ve made it to Day 3 of the Love Reboot Challenge! 🎉

Today we’re talking about something small that makes a huge difference in marriage: complaining.

Here’s the truth: complaining doesn’t just share frustration — it communicates, “You’re supposed to make me happy, and you’re failing.”

That message clouds clarity in your marriage like smudges on a window. Instead of seeing your spouse as God’s gift, you only see what they lack.

👉 For the next 30 days, I’m challenging you to press pause on all forms of complaining — verbal, nonverbal, and even the quiet replaying in your mind.

Not forever. Just long enough to notice how much joy you’ve been handing over to your spouse, instead of bringing it into the relationship yourself.

💡 And when you feel like complaining? Try making a clear request instead:

  • Complaint: “You never help around the house.”
  • Clarity: “I’d appreciate it if you could help with the dishes tonight.”

Clarity begins where complaining ends.

Let’s try this together today.

Blessings,
