What if my spouse thinks I’m the problem in the marriage?

It’s a hard place to be…

When your spouse seems convinced that you are the problem in the marriage — that if you just changed, everything would be better.

Maybe you’ve tried explaining your heart, being more understanding, or doing everything “right.”
Yet, they still act like you’re the reason things aren’t working.

If that’s where you are right now, I want to remind you of this:

You are not powerless.

Even if your spouse sees you as the problem, God sees the full picture.
And when you invite Him in, He doesn’t just defend you —
He begins a deep work in your heart that can transform your marriage from the inside out.

It may not happen overnight.
But if you stay humble, keep showing love, and let God lead, something powerful begins to shift — first in you, and eventually, in your spouse.

You don’t have to convince them you’re not the problem.
You just need to let God do His work in you — and trust Him to do what only He can do in them.

You are not alone.
You’re not stuck.
And you are not beyond hope.

If you’re not sure what steps to take next, reply to this email or reach out.
It would be my joy to walk with you.

Blessings,
Ade
