Happy Father’s Day to every dad reading this—and to those who love and support the fathers in their lives.
Whether you’re a father, married to one, or praying for one, today’s “little thing” that makes a big difference in marriage (and family life) is this:
Laughter.
Yes—laughter. Especially in the middle of stress, conflict, or distance.
As someone who coaches individuals (not couples), I’ve seen how one person choosing to bring back lightness and joy into the relationship can shift everything. Not through preaching, pressuring, or problem-solving—but through presence and playfulness.
“A cheerful heart is good medicine…” — Proverbs 17:22
Laughter doesn’t mean pretending everything is fine. It means creating space for connection. For friendship. For healing.
On this special day, I want to invite you to bring a little more laughter into your home. Even if things aren’t perfect. Especially if they aren’t.
Send a playful text. Remind them of an inside joke. Watch something silly together.
Joy is holy. Laughter is healing. And sometimes, it opens the heart when nothing else can.
You’ve got what it takes.
Tomorrow in Part 6: A Love Note That Changes the Atmosphere.
Blessings,
Ade
