Love and Gratitude go together!
When you love, you see the best in the object of your love,
You also see their weaknesses but you can bear with them.
When I am coaching a person struggling in their marriage, I cannot help but notice that they minimize the strengths of their spouse.
And exaggerate the weakness. They don’t do this intentionally. It’s natural for us to notice the few wrong things and take the good things for granted.
If this sounds like what you feel. Then do this.
Think about, or better still write out 10 things that you are grateful to God for about your spouse.
Then go ahead and give thanks to God for them.
Start with. I thank you for giving me [name of spouse].
When you thank God for your spouse, He will show you ways to enjoy the blessings hidden in them.
Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
