Hi Beloved,
This is the final part of our Little Things That Make a Big Difference in Marriage series, and I want to end with something deeply simple — but surprisingly powerful.
One of the most tender ways to say “I see you. I thought of you. You still matter to me.”
…is with a small gift.
Not something expensive.
Not something extravagant.
Just something thoughtful.
A favorite snack.
A handwritten note.
A flower picked during a walk.
A scripture or quote you saw and thought they’d love.
These tiny gestures carry a big message:
“You are still worth the effort.”
But over time, many stop giving small gifts.
We assume: “They already know I love them.”
Or “It won’t matter.”
Or we just forget… or get too tired.
Here’s the truth I want you to hold onto:
When you let God’s generous love fill you, it naturally begins to overflow. And that overflow often shows up in small, intentional acts.
So let this be your gentle reminder:
Love doesn’t always need grand gestures — it just needs to be expressed.
This week, give a little gift.
Let it be a spark that rekindles warmth, affection, and safety in your marriage.
Thank you for walking through this series with me.
And if these “little things” have shown you that you’re ready for something deeper — a personalized roadmap, rooted in God’s love — I’d love to help you with that. I coach individuals who want to grow into the spouse they were designed to be, even if the other person isn’t there yet.
Whenever you’re ready, I’m here.
With grace and hope,
Ade
