What if one small action—just 2 minutes of your time—could shift the emotional atmosphere in your marriage?
It can.
Today’s little thing that makes a big difference is: Writing a Love Note.
Not a long one. Not a perfect one. Just a genuine, thoughtful note that says:
- “I see you.”
- “I appreciate you.”
- “You matter to me.”
We live in a fast world. It’s easy to think, “They know how I feel.”
But hearing it—or reading it—especially when it’s unexpected, lands differently.
Whether you’re navigating tension or enjoying a peaceful season, your words still have power.
“Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” — Proverbs 16:24
As I often tell the men and women I coach:
You don’t need your spouse’s permission to start changing the atmosphere.
You just need to plant a seed of love.
Today’s challenge:
Write a short note. Place it on the mirror, send it as a text, or slip it into their bag. Let your words become an act of love.
Blessings,
Ade
