Is there hope for my marriage?
That is the question one of my clients asked.
And my answer was and will always be:
As long as God is still God, there is always hope.
And as long as you still want to save the marriage, the hope is greater.
But if you only want to control your spouse, you will be disappointed.
Because you must learn to trust God to change your spouse as He uses their failures and shortcomings to change you.
Such that even if they don’t change and the marriage ends, you are still being transformed into the image of Jesus Christ.
Unfortunately, we all prefer God to change our spouses first.
