Don’t ignore your deep craving to be fully loved and valued for who you are.
You were created with that longing—it’s not weakness, it’s divine design.
But here’s where many get it wrong:
We assume that only God can satisfy that craving. While it’s absolutely true that our deepest needs for love are met in Him, there is also a God-given hunger for human connection and intimacy.
And marriage is the sacred space where that depth of human love is meant to flourish.
When you allow God to meet your deepest love needs, it becomes easier—even natural—to experience human love at new levels. You’re no longer coming from desperation, but fullness.
Sadly, too many couples settle for just enough love to get by. But you weren’t made for mediocre love.
You were made in the image of God—who is love. That means you’re capable of giving and receiving breathtaking, soul-deep love.
So here’s my encouragement:
Don’t settle. Don’t give up. You’ve come this far. Press in for more.
