As a husband, the best way to destroy your home is to shut down communication in your home.
Every August, my wife Olu and I take a few weeks to recharge.
This gives us the time to talk more, play more, rest more, reflect more on scriptures, connect deeper with our children, and so many more good things.
A few days ago, I had an opportunity to have an in-depth discussion with my wife over a couple of hours.
It’s amazing how that discussion has brought more freshness into our marriage and Olu is feeling even better.
It is so important to make time to LISTEN to your wife – NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES her to express her thoughts or for you to understand.
Be wise. Don’t let the enemy get into your marriage.
Of course, listening is not as easy as it sounds and yes wives can initiate the discussions too.
As a husband, you should take leadership and make it happen.
