Many years ago,
The Lord taught me that, the best prayer I can pray for my wife is for her to know Him more.
To be ALL that God designed her to be.
To be more obedient to Him.
Now I find it easy to pray these kinds of prayers because I pray them for myself too.
But at first, they were not easy on my flesh because they removed the focus from my feelings to what God was doing in her.
Now I can’t imagine praying any other way.
