Genuine love..

Let love be genuine…

Rom 12:9

When I met Olu my wife for the first time, it never crossed my mind that she would be my wife..

But love can be “sneaky” like that.

Because we genuinely cared for each other, love took over! Now I can’t imagine my life without her.

You know your love is genuine when:

  1. You continue to desire the progress and well-being of your spouse even when it doesn’t “work to your advantage” to do so or your spouse has hurt you. Truth be told. Your spouse’s progress always works for your ultimate advantage.
  2. You choose to continue to act in ways that draws your spouse closer to God and to God’s purpose for their live as long as they are willing to receive it.
  3. You are not sticking with your spouse simply because you need them in one way or the other.

Please note that by progress and well-being I mean spirit, soul and body!

Blessings

Ps: I am preparing to do a one-day workshop to help improve communication with your spouse, get better at resolving conflicts in a healthy way and increase intimacy. I am thinking of a Saturday from 10am – 3pm with breaks in between. Do you think this will help you?
